Some sightseeing

Soon after the preaching we took a short side trip to an ancient archaeological site, Agrasen ki Baoli. The accompanying pictures show the thousand-year-old stepwell. You have to descend five floors to get to the bottom. What a strange feeling it was to stand admidst those magnificent ruins which, in a way, seem to immortalize time, and yet be surrounded by modern high-rise buildings. A unique blending of old and new. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agrsen_ki_baoli
