Kenneth C. Crago, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away March 27, 2008. He was born April 2, 1925 in Huntington Co., IN to Charles and Mable Sharpe Crago. Mr. Crago graduated from Huntington High School and Tri-State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII on the submarine USS Gato. He worked for RL Schutt & Co. and for the State Highway Department as a civil engineer for many years, retiring in 1994. Ken was a member of East 91st Street Christian Church. He was a longtime forwarding agent and coordinator for Strategic World Evangelism in Chennai, India for 20 years. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 30 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Rd. with funeral services Monday at 10:30 a.m. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bertie; daughters, Cristy (Jerry) Wheeler and Ann (Brian) Gioe; grandchildren, Emily and Tom Wheeler, and Jon and Laura Gioe. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Crago; sisters, Stella Eppard, Dora Hite, Rosella Miller, and Edna Paul. Memorial contributions may be made to Strategic World Evangelism, P.O.
